DIWA is proud to have partnered with The King’s College to support their Newton Academic Group with the donation of educational drones. This initiative aims to give high-potential students access to real technology used in industry, helping build both interest and capability in STEM fields.

Hands-On Learning That Builds Real Skills
The students have already begun coding flight paths, navigating obstacle courses, and experimenting with flight planning. These activities are not just fun. They help strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, and they introduce students to the foundations of aviation and drone operation.
The impact has been immediate. Teachers have reported increased engagement and excitement, and the students have shown a natural curiosity and confidence as they explore the possibilities of drone technology.
Why DIWA Invests in Education
At DIWA, we believe the future of drone technology relies on the next generation of creators, coders, builders, and pilots. By providing schools with real tools and support, we help open doors for students who may one day work in fields such as environmental science, defence, aviation, engineering, robotics, surveying, and more.
Encouraging young people to explore STEM early sets them up for success later in life, and it strengthens the capability pipeline for industries across Australia.

Looking Ahead
We are excited to join The King’s College on campus in Semester 1, 2026 for a live drone demonstration. Opportunities like this allow us to show students how industry-grade systems work and give them even more inspiration for future pathways.
DIWA is committed to fostering innovation, supporting education, and using drone technology to create positive community impact. We look forward to partnering with more schools and programs across Western Australia.
